Our primary mission is to prevent cruelty to animals, and we have the power to prosecute perpetrators of the Animals Protection Act 71 of 1962.

We serve and protect ALL animals. We uplift the community in which we operate by educating, being present and ensuring animal welfare.

A world without the SPCA

Imagine a world where animal cruelty became “normal”. Where a roadside is the only place to leave an unwanted pet. Where the community has nowhere to turn to when animals need help. Imagine a world where animals are exploited even more. What would desperate community members do if no one could assist them in times of need?

This is a world without the SPCA.
